Most of tonight's session we spent working on pronunciation of words in dialogue #4 and some other related vocabulary. Next time I will do a few tongue-twister exercises with the student to help him articulate difficult combinations of sounds. Otherwise, I am very pleased with his progress with pronunciation and fluidity of sentences.

Languages Tutoring review by Jessica in Berkeley, CA
The student and I started our session by continuing to work on writing the alphabet and pronouncing it in both French and English. We did the same thing with numbers 1-20 and then read a book called Elmer the Elephant. Although the book is in English we incorporated French into it too! She enjoyed it! Then we did an activity related to the book where she was able to decorate her own Elmer and then she started coloring a background for where he lives. She does very well in both the French and English languages.

Languages Tutoring review by Lauren in Berkeley, CA
The student focused on negation with the verb aimer and drilling those. He did well using those in sentences. He also had to create his own questions to ask me using all the vocabulary he has learned, and he did well with that too. The student and I introduced some vocabulary she uses at work, mostly focusing on comparatives and superlatives that she can use when describing machinery.
