An expert geometry tutor in Las Vegas, NV, may help you develop a study plan to make the best use of your time.

Tutoring is an important part of the educational process. Geometry Tutoring review by Matthew in Las Vegas, NV
With his Geometry final quickly approaching, the student and I went over the first 5 practice quizzes that were provided by his teacher over the course of the year. We will continue meeting as many times as possible prior to his final reviewing all of the material that he must know. Today went very well and I think this review will be a great refresher for concepts he may have forgotten.

For this session, the student and I worked on a homework assignment for finding measurements involving circles and tangent lines. We started to work on a review for a quiz that he took last Friday. We only covered a little bit of the review, but got some basics down. He was given the review before any of the other students and his teacher went through the rest of the review in class the day after we met.

During the last session, I worked with student 1 on the next chapter of her biology coursework. We specifically looked at the various domains in the kingdom of life, specifically bacteria, archea and eukarya. We specifically looked into differences between the domains in terms of cellular structures and composition, and also looked into the different examples for each domain. I also worked with student 2 and helped her with her geometry homework which involved simplifying radicals. Both girls did well during the session.

The student has a quiz on Thursday over surface area of prisms, cylinders, pyramids, and cones. He needed some assistance on the material because it had been taught to them by a sub. After we reviewed the concepts, however, he was able to complete practice problems without much difficulty. His main challenge to prepare for the quiz is memorizing all of the formulas - in order to help with this, we talked through where they came from and in what ways they are similar across the various figures.

The student and I finished her last 'C' problem and also worked on Chapter 10 test. We found the equations of lines given points or parallel or perpendicular lines. We also reviewed how to write equations of circles given points and radii length, the length of the tangent from a point to a circle, and x and y-intercepts.
