Anatomy Tutoring review by Rashida in Minneapolis, MN
We covered Ch.11 of her science book (Amphibians, Reptiles, and Fossils). We also reviewed percent, part, and whole. There were no scores/grades to note. I will email a practice exam for her science test over ch. 11. I have no concerns from this session.

Anatomy Tutoring review by John in Minneapolis, MN
The student has an upcoming exam in neuropharmacology. We mostly went over cholinergic and adrenergic systems, but we also discussed GABAergic systems. The notes from former students to which she has access are a couple of years old, but contain at least the basic course outline. I went through her text with her. There is a chapter of about 50 pages which covers some, but probably not all, of the expected exam material. I pointed out some figures in the text which she can ignore and some others which need close attention. I also suggested some simple articles that will help her gel some of this material in her mind.

The student and I went through a study guide packet on earth science that his teacher gave as preparation for the earth science exam. We went through each section together and highlighted the concepts and topics being tested on each question, with special attention to the different types of questions.

Anatomy Tutoring review by Camilla in Minneapolis, MN
In this session, I began to help the student prepare for her upcoming science test on the Earth's layers, volcanoes, and water erosion. I was very pleased that she had taken the initiative to make flashcards as we had done in a previous session with clear bullet points and diagrams. I went through these cards with her and answered any questions that she had related to the concepts on these cards.

Anatomy Tutoring review by Robert in Minneapolis, MN
Student 1 had a test last week, the first since we started working together, and she felt it went well (she should have her grade back by our next session). This week, we worked through a chi-square analysis of a genetic problem together, and she seemed to grasp the process well. Student 2 had a test a few days after we met, so we spent time going over some gas law problems, especially Dalton's law of partial pressures. We also went back to go over limiting reagent problems; that was the topic of his previous test, and he wanted to clarify a few points.
